Manila clams dominate BC's clam farming industry and are enjoyed all around the world. These are available all year-round and are great to impress with any dish. Their tender, sweet meat and colorful shell make them our most popular clams. The most common way to cook clams is to steam them, but they can be baked, broiled, or stir-fried in any of your favourite recipes. Clams can be cooked together with mussels. For a main dish of steamed clams, allow 1 to 1.5 lbs per person. With pasta or rice, 1 lb is enough. For a side dish or starter, allow half a pound per person. Brought to you by Madison Seafood.
